Sickened cure that I implored

Found myself, a broken boy, Stagnant train that fell off track, Was my presence that annoyed, Thought I’d find my old self back, Bagged the scattered bits of joy,  Those that sneaked through wounded cracks, Couldn’t live through my dark void, So I filled it with her laugh. Numbness fought the jarring pain, The one I felt so worthy of, Dropped my esse to keep me sane, Forlorn home where I got lost, She would fight for me in vain, Sheltered me from conscious thoughts, Couldn’t live in my lone plain So I filled it with her love. Shared the turmoils of her mind, Leveled down to drop my guard, Predisposed on what she’d find, A spirit gone, emotions charred, Thoughts wore out a girl so kind,  Tore myself and her apart, Couldn’t live with views so blind, So I filled them with her scars. Shut and locked down all my doors, As I tried to seem all tough, Crashing waves that bruised the shore, Of the girl that called my bluff, Sickened cure that I implored, Life so smooth I made it ...

My darling dear

Darling dearest, With your rosy lips Hold me nearest Enchant me with your clever quips I Fall for you in fleeting moments Free spent time with you at every chance You Drag my heart into this messy dance   It feels so cliche A performance A display But here we are And here you stay You walked into my life Everyday in  Now I call you darling dear And mean every word I’ve said What have you done to my head?   My thoughts drift out the window  Whenever you're around  But when you laugh beside me  My whole world spins around And even the smallest memories we make  Lifts my soul off the ground.
