Moon and I

The moon and I
Walk side by side.

I fear no dark,
For its beautiful stars.

The moon and I—
Both filled with scars,
Both went through hundred miles.

Yet—
The moon and I
Walk side by side by side.

The moon shines so bright,
So bright,
That it covers my flaws.

The moon escaped this path,
As the sun forced it away,
Leaving my flaws everywhere,
Hoping for the dark to be back.

For that,
I walk alone
In this endless road
The moon and I once walked,
Before the sun’s force.
